Brittani and Devan had a lovely backyard ceremony followed by a reception in the recently renovated Northern Hotel in Billings, Montana.  It was super classy with splashes of silver and gold sparkles.  Her bouquet was made out of vintage brooches- such a neat idea that went with the theme really well!  Thank you for having us be a part of your day Devan and Brittani!

Kenzie and Cody were married at one of my favorite venues in Montana – the Billings Depot.  I know Kenzie from high school – we played soccer together along with her younger sister and maid of honor, M’ily.  It was so fun to reconnect with them and share more memories together as grown-ups.  Kenzie included a ton of color in her wedding, which made it so fun, fresh and spunky.  The bridesmaids exemplify this well in the photos below. ;)

Benjamin & Jonna were married on the most beautiful day in the most beautiful way at the Cathedral of St. Helena.  We were so thrilled to be a part of this lovely couples big day in Helena, Montana.  Benjamin is from Bend, Oregon and Jonna is from Eureka, Montana.  Their worlds collided while attending school at Gonzaga. You can truly see the love these two share for each other!  Their friends and family were an amazing and wholesome bunch – we were so delighted to be a part of this one!  We were able to stay until the very end when Ben took Jonna away in a wheelbarrow, which is a tradition in Jonna’s family.  Pretty neat, huh!? Thanks Ben & Jonna.  We hope you two are having a great time on your honeymoon!

Chris and Kelsey were married last weekend at the fabulous Cherokee Ranch & Castle in Sedalia, Colorado.  The setting was breathtaking.  If you live in the Denver area and haven’t stopped by the castle for tea or some other event, you have to!  The day went super smooth thanks to Kerri and Sarah from A Touch of Bliss.  It was a great day to be a wedding photographer, that’s for sure. Jess and Robert were married on a lovely May day at The Meadows at Marshdale in Evergreen, Colorado. We were blessed with the best weather!  It was a little rainy at times, but the timing was so ideal.  We were still able to take all the photos outside and the sun came out right before Jess walked down the aisle!  I absolutely loved the green color scheme Jess picked out.  All the different shades looked so great against the natural landscape, don’t ya think?

It’s always a huge privilege to shoot weddings, but it really hit me hard when Robert was about to see his bride for the first time.  The setting could not have been more perfect- we were nestled under some aspens, it had just stopped raining, Robert was ecstatic/nervous, and I had goosebumps.  What a joy it was to witness this ‘First Look’ moment!
