Tina and I went and tromped through the snow last week for her headshot session and it was so beautiful out!  We did her headshots back in 2011, so it was time to update her portfolio.   In the past couple years she has performed on the Disney Cruise Line playing roles like Mary Poppins (she got to fly in the air and everything!) and in the summers her acting career took her to Utah to perform in their Shakespeare Festival.  I had so much fun with you Tina!  Thanks for being up for shooting in the cold weather. :)

Roy and I had the honor to photograph one of our all time favorite families.  Meet the McBride’s.  We decided to schedule the family portrait session on one of the coldest, most breeziest days in Colorado history (well, at least that’s what it felt like).  It was still a success and we had a lot of fun snapping a few photos in between the big gusts of wind and rain.  We are so thankful to have these cuties as part of our family.  Sullie always makes us laugh with his full throttle excitement and for now, Marley enjoys observing the craziness.

To keep Sullivan distracted from the cold, we told him to scream “Monster’s Inc.”- I think it worked!

Brooke Peterson Photography is travelling to Southeast Asia and we are getting so pumped!!   We are hitting up two countries on our trip- Vietnam and Thailand.  Have any of you been there before?  It is so hard to figure out what to pack in our bags and we are the type of people that want the perfect set up.  Neither of us have been to an Asian country before, so we are not quite sure what to expect!  The anticipation has been so much fun for us.  More specifically, we are making stops in Hanoi, VN, Halong Bay, VN and then heading to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and jetting south to do some island hopping!  We plan on posting some pictures throughout the trip so be sure to check back in with us.

Welcome to a super fall-ish engagement session!  It was kind of on the tail end of fall, but I would say we caught it on such a beautiful evening!  We even found a bright red maple tree and it was heavenly! Kira and Luke are so much fun.  They do so many unique and cool hobbies together- like archery! Check out those bows (below) and you will see what I am talking about.  I had never seen anything like it and it made me so excited!  They are current Coloradans, but they are getting married next summer in Montana along the Stillwater River.  It’s going to be gorgeous Montana wedding to photograph.  We can’t wait!  Thank you Kira & Luke-  enjoy your images!
