Don’t these photos just make you want to go find a little cozy cabin like this one and live in it forever?!  If it wouldn’t have been so cold outside, I think we definitely would have hung out on the front porch of this cabin all evening long at least!

This set of images is part two of the styled shoot we did in Whitefish, Montana. You can see part one here. The gown in these photos is from the designer Claire La Faye and I think it was strikingly beautiful in this rustic winter setting!  The details of the dress blew me away. And what about that antler headpiece with the matching boutonniere?!  It was so much fun to have creative and unique pieces to work with.  Mum’s Flowers is just so so good!

Wow- are we really just 2 days away from 2015!? Roy and I sure have had a blessed year.  We’ve had so many amazing wedding stories take place right in front of us!  When you are a wedding photographer, you really get to know every couple personally and we are always humbled by all the families that welcome us so warmly on wedding days.  It makes us love what we do and we have very thankful hearts!

Roy and I spent the last year adventuring in one of our favorite little towns in Montana.  Whitefish served us so well- we skied lots, visited Glacier Nat’l Park several times, gallivanted across the state to photograph weddings, met new friends and hung out with old ones.  We have now settled in Bozeman, MT where we are a lot closer to family. We are excited about our central location and being able to serve our brides and grooms across the state better.

We have a great lineup of weddings in 2015 already!  We do still have some dates available, so be sure to get in contact with us if you are getting married in 2015 or 2016 and want us to be your Montana wedding photographer!  Here is a look back on just a few weddings we did in 2014.  We will see you in the new year. :)

Top Montana Wedding Photographers 2014 Year in Review

Cheers to a great 2015 wedding season.  We can’t wait to capture some more Montana wedding moments as Bozeman wedding photographers.  Thanks again to all the brides, grooms, and wonderful families from all over that had us be a part of their special moments.  We consider it a great honor and cherish our memories with you all!

This Red Lodge, Montana wedding throws us back to the middle of August!  As we catch up on our busy summer, we knew we couldn’t pass up blogging this wedding.  Cindy and Matt were married at St. Agnes Catholic Church in downtown Red Lodge, Montana and then had their reception at the beautiful Rock Creek Resort.

One of my favorite moments from the day was when Cindy was getting ready and she had a surprise planned for her mom!  Right when we showed up to start photographing, Cindy clued us in on everything.  Cindy was going to be wearing her mom’s cathedral veil from her wedding day and her mom had no idea!  In fact, Cindy’s mom suggested the idea a few months prior and Cindy turned it down hardcore by saying “Ew, your veil was ugly- I could never wear that!”  We did catch it all on camera and if you look at the photos below you will see what happens… Cindy’s mom was filled with emotion once she found out.  It was such a sweet moment that we got to witness!

Cindy and Matt you two are lovely people and we were so happy to play a part in your wedding day. Thanks for having us be your Montana wedding photographers in Red Lodge!

We felt honored to be Red Lodge Montana wedding photographers for Cammie and Braden this summer at Wildflower Weddings.  These two are the best.  You could see it in their eyes as we photographed through the rain and the shine.  Braden truly adores Cammie and Cammie loves her Braden sooooo much!

Braden and Cammie chose to do a first look.  Right before Cammie came out to find her groom the weather became overcast and rainy!  Cammie was 100% up for it anyway and used our trusty clear umbrella for her walk to Braden.  They turned out to be some of our favorite pictures of the season.  Seeing them snuggled together under the umbrella was warming to our hearts and our chilled feet!  We also had a chance to snap a couple shots under the beverage bar building through the rain.  As wedding photographers, we love when weather changes from rain, to shine, to snow (sometimes). :) Well it is Montana and it is so much fun to photograph the constant changes!

Thanks Cammie and Braden for welcoming us with the warmest hearts to your wedding and letting us document your story.  Enjoy!

We had the best time being Montana wedding photographers in Coeur d’Alene, ID for Courtney and David’s beautiful mountain wedding. It was such an honor when Courtney approached us last year about photographing her destination wedding in Idaho.  We were anticipating this one for a long time… to see Courtney as a bride was going to be breathtaking!  And it was. :) Courtney is not the typical bride- she is the girl other brides go to for all their wedding day help and ideas. It made us all so excited to see what she would come up with for her own wedding!  She runs an amazing style blog, manages a beautiful Montana bridal boutique, coaches high school volleyball, and is constantly dreaming up fun events and get-togethers for everyone to enjoy. As you look through the wedding day pictures below you will see her talents conveyed through all the images!

Photographing Courtney and David’s engagement session in Glacier National Park last winter made us really excited for their wedding day in Coeur d’Alene.  Courtney and David’s faith-based ceremony was absolutely beautiful- it started with her dad praying over them and ended with every guest getting the chance to partake in communion.  What powerful moments and testimonies of their faith as a couple!

We love traveling for destination weddings.
