Tina and I went and tromped through the snow last week for her headshot session and it was so beautiful out!  We did her headshots back in 2011, so it was time to update her portfolio.   In the past couple years she has performed on the Disney Cruise Line playing roles like Mary Poppins (she got to fly in the air and everything!) and in the summers her acting career took her to Utah to perform in their Shakespeare Festival.  I had so much fun with you Tina!  Thanks for being up for shooting in the cold weather. :)

Roy and I had the honor to photograph one of our all time favorite families.  Meet the McBride’s.  We decided to schedule the family portrait session on one of the coldest, most breeziest days in Colorado history (well, at least that’s what it felt like).  It was still a success and we had a lot of fun snapping a few photos in between the big gusts of wind and rain.  We are so thankful to have these cuties as part of our family.  Sullie always makes us laugh with his full throttle excitement and for now, Marley enjoys observing the craziness.

To keep Sullivan distracted from the cold, we told him to scream “Monster’s Inc.”- I think it worked!

This is what I like to call the “Married-and-so-in-love-session!” Greg and Kelly sure demonstrated this well, don’t you think?  These two have become some of our best friends down here in Denver.  Maybe what makes them so cool and compatible is because they are from Montana- same place we’re from. ;)

Greg and Kelly are both graduating from the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine this year and will probably head out of town for Greg’s residency next year.  So, we wanted to visit some memorable places for the shoot.  Our first stop for their shoot was Anschutz Medical Campus, a place where a whole lot of their time is spent.  Our second stop was at City Park- the park right near their home. Thanks for having me do these G & K.  You two are going to be the cutest doctor/nurse couple ever!!

This is a U.S. Air Force Vet that I had the pleasure to meet at a reception I shot this past weekend in Denver. Not only did he serve for the Air Force, but he flew on the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird.  This aircraft still holds the record for the fastest aircraft with air-breathing pilots.  Pretty neat, right!? It is now on display at the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum in Virginia and I was just there to see it in person last month. When I found out her name was Brooke, I had no doubt that this was going to be a successful photo session!  And it was- we had a blast walking up and down the streets of the Highlands in Denver, snapping shots along the way.  Thanks for a great morning, Brooke.  I hope to hangout with you again soon!
