I met Evan and Sonya at Cammie & Braden’s wedding last August and thought they were the sweetest!  We got to know them a little bit that day because Evan was Braden’s best man.  I was so pumped when they asked us to photograph their wedding this year in their hometown of Lewistown, MT!  We met in Butte for their engagement session and got a little bit of everything- winter, sunshine and uptown Butte.  Butte served as a great location for their session! I couldn’t be more excited to share these images.

We like to call these Married-And-So-In-Love sessions!  Liz and David have been married for 8 years and they wanted to get together for some photos for their Christmas cards.  We walked around their beautiful neighborhood in Bozeman, MT and got some great shots!  It may not look like winter in Montana- it was 55 degrees during their shoot and no snow on the ground- but we enjoyed it anyway!  I suppose it was as if we were doing Christmas photos in Texas or something. ;-)

Portrait sessions like these are just another reason why we love this time of year!  It was great meeting you Liz & David.  Thank you for having me be your Bozeman portrait photographer.  Enjoy your photos and Merry Christmas!!

Hip hip hooray, Lindsay Wendt is on her way to graduating from Whitefish High School today… (well not today, but this May!).  Lindsay and I had the best time during the early morning Montana light for her senior picture session a couple weeks ago.  This girl is so so so cute and I loved getting to capture her natural beauty, curly hair, and contagious laugh through my lens. Lindsay also was selected to be one of our 2015 Senior Class Picture Models last spring.  We had a blast getting to know Lindsay and work with her on that fun program.

We at Brooke Peterson Photography love being Montana senior photographers.  It is so much fun to capture that point in life when so much change is just around the corner.  We always consider it an honor to get to photograph Montana senior pictures because of that big jump into adulthood is approaching so fast! Introducing Emma Epperly!  She is a High School Senior Class of 2015!  Isn’t this girl adorable?!  Emma is entering her senior year in Kalispell, Montana at Glacier High School this fall.  She was one of our first senior models to apply for a model position and we are so glad she did.  We had an absolute blast during her senior portrait session a few weeks ago in Whitefish and Kalispell. Courtney of 114-West styled the shoot with us and after about two hours of laughing, strolling, and playing in the woods, we captured some natural moments with this Montana high school senior.

It is a joy for us to be Kalispell senior photographers.  These are just a few of our favorites from the day. Thanks Emma for waking up bright and early for your shoot!

We had so much fun photographing a special celebration with the Steinberg family in Whitefish, MT.  Carrie decided to have her birthday bash with her three kids in the beautiful Flathead Valley near Whitefish, MT. This family comes from all over the US –  New Hampshire, California, and Washington.  They needed to choose the perfect rendezvous location.  They chose to celebrate under the Big Sky of Montana.  We think they did pick the best spot to have their family reunited!

The weather was a little unpredictable as it can be in June in Montana,  but in the end we had the perfect night with the perfect light!  We even had time to feed the neighborhood horses.  We love being Whitefish Montana family photographers!
