The Brooke Peterson Photography Business Mentoring Program is simple.  We offer many different areas of help and expertise.  From starting a photography business to being the best in your market.  We are here to help you reach your full potential.

Before we list our offerings we would like to qualify our experience:

First Brooke, then Roy –

Brooke (click here for her official bio) has had a passion for photography since she was a little girl.  She has always loved capturing life’s special moments as they come. With a love for photography at a young age she begin snapping pictures of everything she found interesting.  This started as a hobby but grew into a career down the road.

Brooke grew up in a home that believed in travel and she was exposed to many different cultures and was able to see beautiful places all throughout her childhood. This sparked her interest in her photography style.  She has always been intrigued with people – so she constantly pursued them with her photography.

It was no surprise to her friends and family when Brooke took her passion for photography to a professional level.  She studied under seasoned veterans in the Journalism School at the University of Montana, earning her B.A. in Photojournalism. She learned to take her skill and style and craft it into an art.  During this time, she married her high school sweet heart (he spent his time in the business school).  Her interest always remained in people and she now is an award-winning wedding and portrait photographer living in the beautiful big sky of Whitefish, Montana.

Roy grew up with a couple of things always on his mind – business and sales.  It was not shocking that at a young age Roy was pursuing both of these passions with his neighborhood gang.  From door to door carwash sales to working to promote the neighborhood radio station he was always thinking of growth and potential.  Roy also was often top salesman during his middle school years at the local professional baseball stadium.  Being a hocker in the evenings, selling… you guessed it peanuts, popcorn, crackerjacks, and the like.

He also was extremely organized and fiscal minded.  As many of his friends were worried about buying the next best video game he was focused on investing in the company that made that game.

It was no surprise to Roy’s family and friends when he pursued his accounting and business degree at the University of Montana,  earning a B.S. in Business Accounting.  After marrying Brooke towards the end of college Roy worked with an educational travel company as sales, operations, and program delivery person.  He also was forecasting, reporting, and auditing the company’s financials each year. He streamlined many parts of the day to day business operations to promote healthy growth in their industry.  He quickly became successful in the sales area and was promoted to the director of that program he helped grow.  He also has worked as a business consultant to various small businesses and projects.

During this entire time he worked alongside his wife building Brooke Peterson Photography to where it is today.  Roy has always enjoyed working with Brooke in the photography world. Travel, photography, business, and sales are his passions and he has been successful in all areas.

BUSINESS AND MARKETING:

The majority of questions we receive fall under this category we call “Business and Marketing”.  This is a broad category so we have broken it down into individual topics.
